Whidbey Design is the developing client-facing practice of Toledo Design Services LLC, created to make thoughtful residential design help more approachable for South Whidbey homeowners.
Rodrigo brings an Ecuadorian architectural education, residential-development experience, project-management perspective, and a longstanding interest in sustainable design to his work on Whidbey Island.
He believes a modest project can deserve every bit as much care as a large one. A kitchen, bathroom, deck, compact addition, or ADU may be where a family feels design most directly: in easier movement, better light, useful storage, a safer threshold, or a view newly connected to daily life.
The goal is not to impose a signature. It is to listen closely, understand the place, make complexity clearer, and help each client arrive at work that feels natural to their home and their life.
