Most A/B studies below are existing-to-proposed comparisons. They are design visualizations—not photographs of completed construction—created to make the problem and the design response legible before work begins.

01 · Addition · Focused transformation

Make arrival unmistakable.

The existing red house has a front door, but little sense of arrival. A taller dark-clad volume, sheltered timber canopy, and clear path give the entry identity without remaking the entire home.

02 · Remodel · Small project

Turn a dated kitchen into a calm center.

The plan already has the essentials. The design focuses on what people feel every day: a useful island, clearer work zones, warm natural material, better light, and fewer visual interruptions.

03 · Addition · Larger transformation

Add working space that belongs there.

A garage and shop can be practical without feeling detached from the life of the property. The proposed volume creates room for vehicles, tools, storage, and projects while staying connected to the existing home.

04 · Remodel · Outdoor living

Make the view part of the room.

A hot tub alone does not make an outdoor room. The remodel coordinates deck, steps, planting, privacy, and the distant water view so the whole area feels intentional and comfortable year-round.
